We are currently seeking a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in product design. The candidate should possess excellent collaboration skills to work closely with Product managers, front-end engineers, and marketing team to deliver high-quality designs that meet user needs and business objectives. The product designer will have a strong impact on how hundreds of large enterprises interact, analyze and understand insights from Big Data on our SaaS platform. The right candidate for this role will have a portfolio (either online or PDF) which demonstrates strong capabilities in both UX process knowledge and application as well as visual/UI design.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design user-centric product features and enhancements.
- Utilize design frameworks and the latest technologies to accelerate product development and launch processes.
- Independently work on end-to-end design of product features, from concept ideation to high-fidelity wireframing and prototyping.
- Evaluate and recommend innovative design tools and methodologies to optimize design processes and enhance productivity.
- Create and maintain a robust design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all product design initiatives.
- Develop high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using industry-standard tools such as Figma.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.
- Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in product design.
- Experience collaborating with front-end developers and shipping clean and performant prototypes.
- Understanding of Figma components and variables, experience working with design systems is a plus.
- Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during the interview.
- Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of UX best practices and trends in the B2B SaaS industry.
- Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript will be a plus.
